Organise Your Own Sponsored Event
There are so many ways that you can get involved and raise vital funds for The Positive Herd Project- the possibilities are endless! Could you organise a sponsored event in something you enjoy, or hold a bake sale?! Maybe you could get crafty and bring out the knitting needles, or perhaps you have an idea which is totally unique to you!? However you'd like to get involved, we'd love to hear from you.

Why not do something that you would love to do, while raising funds for the horses at the same time? You could join an already organised event, such as a sponsored ride, or arrange your own. Ideas for sponsored events include;

Why not do something that you would love to do, while raising funds for the horses at the same time? You could join an already organised event, such as a sponsored ride, or arrange your own. Ideas for sponsored events include;
- Horse ride or walk. Bonus points if it aligns with our positive, force-free ethos!
- Dog walk. Exercise your four legged friend while raising money for the horses.
- Walk, hike, run or bike ride. Or something else entirely!
- Skydive, abseil or other adrenaline fuelled activities, if you've got the nerve.
- Do something in fancy dress. The more embarrassing the better.

Get Crafty
Are you an avid knitter? If so maybe you could knit some cuddly ponies to add to our knitted herd? These cute creations can be sold on our online shop to raise money for the horses. There are plenty of free patterns available online, we especially love the one available to download from Deramores . It doesn't just have to be horses, you could try your hand at a donkey or other farmyard friends too! Why not combine forces with a group of keen knitters and make it a sponsored event? |

Community Spirit
You could engage and support your local community while also helping The Positive Herd! If you're a dab hand at baking why not hold a bake sale, or clear the clutter with a brick-a-brac or book sale? There are plenty of ways to sell unwanted items online, such as MusicMagpie or Ebay. Could you offer your services, such as gardening or bag packing for your local community while receiving donations? Why not offer to clean tack at a nearby stables? It's surprisingly therapeutic! |
