Fundraising Volunteer
Introduction
We currently need help from enthusiastic, dedicated and committed fundraising volunteers to help raise vital funds to support our horses and activities. The position will be based at home with the opportunity to attend regular training, supervisions and volunteer events at our premises. Alongside the fundraising coordinator you’ll be responsible for organising and promoting fundraising events and assisting with funding applications. You’ll have the opportunity to think of creative new ways to reach potential donors, and to make a real difference to the horses and the people they help.
This role gives you the chance to:
Volunteer Commitment: The work is part time and very flexible as you’ll be working from home. We do require a regular commitment of 3 hours or more a week. The position is long term.

Skills and Qualifications Required:
We are looking for individuals with some of the following skills:
• Social Media and Marketing
• Fundraising strategy
• Event organising
If you don’t have experience in any of these areas you can still get in touch, we’re looking for individuals with enthusiasm about the role.
What support is available for the volunteer?:
Volunteers are given induction training and have the opportunity for further training as and when required. The volunteer manager will ensure that each volunteer has regular supervisions and is given the appropriate level of support to excel in their role.
What training is available for the volunteer?:
Full induction.

- Develop your skills in fundraising, event management and marketing.
- Learn new skills and access ongoing training.
- Take an active role within a small charity and really make a difference.
- Contribute to the care of rescued horses through your work. You’ll get chance to meet the horse’s as part of your role.
- Work on flexible projects which interest and inspire you.
